Foam concrete, thanks to its properties, is ideal as a grout for filling the interstitial space during pipeline renovation.
Why Foam Concrete?
- It is lightweight – it does not overload the entire structure and minimizes the risk of the installation settling into the ground.
- It is thermally insulating – it provides good insulation for the fluids transmitted through the pipeline.
- It allows the pipeline to “work” – thanks to its cellular structure, foam concrete allows for volume changes in both old and newly installed pipelines. This means that neither pressure increases nor temperature changes increase the risk of damage to the installation due to the applied grout.
